are you going all the way to the north cape ?, if so can you post some pics on your return. seriously envy your trip, love it up there:thumbup:

Am going to Flakstadvag on the isle of Senja. Its not far from the Nordcap. I went to the Nordcap once just to be able to say had been. I was very disappointed with it. It was just a tourist rip off. Tacky tourist shops and having to pay extortionate prices to park. Having said that I don't really know what I expected there to be there. If you click on the link on my previous post it will give you some idea of what the scenery is like up there. The landscape above the circle is breathtaking. I will try to dig some photos out from previous trips and post em.

Senja is my where i spent my childhood :001_smile: Me and wife my spent 5 years there after we left Uk and before we moved to the southwest coast. Try to come by Flakstavåg as we plan to start our ride to Senja this weekend:biggrin:

Steve

Hi Steve, I hope to be at Flakstadvag around the end of June. Am not sure if I am taking my boat as its cheaper to rent a boat up there than drag my own. I love Senja and have spent quite a lot of time there in the summers. I was told by the owner of the fishcamp I was the first Englishman to visit Flakstadvag. He then proceeded to help drink all my good malt :001_rolleyes:. A great country you have up there. I also have a friend with a Triple E who was born on Senja, we meet up in Spain most winters. Hope to catch up with you later in the summer.
Dave.

A few photos of previous trips to Scandinavia. A great place for lovers of Americana and of course serious fishing.

Have just signed up for the Autopass with tag, it gets you over the bridges and through the autopass lanes of all the tolls.

Not sure what i'm going to do with the bridges and roads I am paying for. Still I have paid for the Dartford Crossing with all my trips and have left it there as a cash cow for the Government. How nice of me.:biggrin::biggrin:
