We have arrived in Elgin and it is reasonably mild, although now below freezing I think. The Cairngorms had a bit of snow along side the road on tha A9 and some of the peaks were white. But roads were great. Thanks everyone for their reports from where they are. We should do this more often in the winter.(y)

In my humble opinion this is one of the best postings ever started on here.(y)

Apart from a bit of banter(badly needed) the information given could be of great help to all travelling especially at this time of year.

We must have members in every county in the UK and who better to give out what the weather is doing in their area.

I know we can't be 100% accurate but certainly as good as any general weather forcast on the telly:)

I'm going to be Travelling to Grimsby with the Rv and car trailer in early Jan and will be asking what the weather is doing along my route.(y)

Thanks to Paul & Debra.

Regards

John P(y)

You should see the state of the RV, 650+ Miles on salt encrusted roads. You can hardly see it. But at the weekend we are travelling home, so might as well wait till home to wash it.:D

I think if John were here, he would be out there with a torch all night.:rofl: As long as it is mechanically maintained, the cleaning can wait until I have done another 650 miles home.:D:D Otherwise I might have to clean it twice.:rofl:

Oh dear, we are starting home tomorrow and it is snowing. Might get snowed in, I can think of worse things. I would appreciate some weather updates in the morning for the A9 down from Inverness and the M6 down to the M40. Then M25 to A21, anyone in those general areas would be useful.;)(y)
