Its overlooking rutland water where ospreys go. Hoping for some good pics of them.

Very good at £7 a night, tons of space so genny running is ok, and theres a waste dumping sewer grid adjacent to the main building

That's the one, right on edge of the lake

Not quite right on the edge, but great views depending on where you pitch up. Theres 110 acres to choose from and loads of fresh water points dotted all over. Bike rides are brilliant and dog walking is too.

Make sure you turn right off the track towards the lake and not left, the c&ccsite is there and you may well get stuck.

Enjoy those views, I love it there!

Will be back on the road Tuesday (fingers crossed) so up to Wiltshire for a couple of days. Luckily I have side camera's so no requirement for Angela to utilise the lipstick mirror to assist my weaving in and out of traffic

Wow this site at Rutland water is one of the best for peace and you can run your genny and let grey into the hedge and black dump at reception. £ 7 a day fantastic we ought to have a wee rally here
