We spent a fair bit of yesterday evening outside the RV on site at Ypres with a couple from Holland and a couple from Belgium, and while discussing TV they had really enjoyed Allo Allo, Fawlty Towers, Some Mothers Do Ave Em and it Ain't Arf Ot Mum.
Surprising how they see and enjoy our humour and programmes but we don't see theirs.
A real pleasant evening:thumbup:

Larry it seems nearly everybody in Europe speaks English and so can understand our tv programs .Try watching a tv program in Dutch or Flemish and see how you fare:blink:

With that in mind I once mentioned to a Dutch man how well most Dutch people speak English......His reply was "We have to who the hell speaks Dutch apart from us":laugh:

I watched a very good Belgian cop series called Salamander, recently, it was subtitled of course, but I thoroughly enjoyed it!
