Having left Malvern at Lunch time, nice trip down to M4. Accident between ,junction 13 and 12 hour delay so far and can't see the accident yet.

Sorry to hear that,

At least you can walkabout and get drinks and eat while travelling slowly. Always good to look at the fury on other motorists faces watching from their tiny little cells..

Finally left at 1.30pm M5/6 all ok. Now on M54 looking forward to meeting up with Tony and Penny soon.:) Hope your not too long in that queue Paul.

Thinking of you stuck in traffic, we had short trip down M5 now sat in briarfields off to motor home medics tomorrow new windscreens then mot on Wednesday ready for France then Portugal for Christmas fingers crossed for Wednesday

All on move actually not as bad as emergency vehicles speeding up hard shoulder suggested. Just approaching M20 trying to work out if operation stack in progress as all signs flashing that all HGV'S use A20 ? All traffic reports have no mention of closure so we're gonna chance it

Daughter got caught in the propane tanker incident a couple of weeks a go on the M56, was stationary for 6 hrs!!

At least, unlike the car and truckers you could pop down the back and make a cuppa

or even lunch.

Been home for 1.5 hours now, tv set up, Gas and Electric connected. Just having a cold drink. Had a fantastic 10 days away, thanks to everyone for the fun at wings. Debbie and John and Kev an Bev for their company at Gosport and everyone who came to Malvern. We didn't want to come home.:D:D

Sounds like you had a nightmare journey but if I was you I'd get a large glass of wine and forget the last hours and look back on the memories of the last 10 days.
