Why I'm so jealous.. just read this article about free or low cost camping in the States .. would it ever be possible in the UK ..?

I realise that the US has a lot more 'wild' country than the UK but there are a lot of very remote places here too that could be opened up for recreational wild camping .. somehow I doubt it will ever happen..

Walmart welcome you with open arms.

Have picked up Chinese takeaway in the RV and on another day went to a bar for a drink in a bar using the bus.

Yes John .. but I was thinking more forests, mountains and grizzly bears .. not into car parks

as a matter of interest, there is bill in the States trying to prohibit parking at Walmarts .. because local RV parks are empty..

:001_cool: We Wild Camped (Boondocking in the USA) all around the USA for 3 months. Only paid for 4 day/nights in Death Valley where we had too much to see and there was NO Boondocking allowed.
