Thank you for excellent pics and description of your adventure, brought back some lovely memories.

Forgot to say, I as usual forgot to zero the Trip but we think we covered around 3300 miles on this trip. When the Credit card Bill comes in I will tell you how much I spent on Fuel.:001_smile:

Only just caught up with this thread

Wow what an experience

Thank you, feel like I almost lived it

same here, thank you for sharing your adventure with us:thumbup:. next time you go take a forward facing dash cam so we can see the wheel clenching moments when trucks come the other way on them narrow roads:biggrin:

would recommend Shetland/orkney for an adventure , 28 to 30 foot rv ideal:thumbup:

I did neglect to say, i realised I must have been clenching the wheel quite hard when I got pins and needles in all my fingers and thumbs.

Hi Paul and debra

What a fantastic trip you've had and for sharing it with us. The pics were brilliant.

Regards brian and chris

Just been on line to my Credit Card account, we spent £2,340 on Petrol and LPG but we have a full Petrol Tank and 3/4 full Gas tanks, thanks to a last minute fill up in Luxembourg where the prices are a lot cheaper. If you factor in that there were 5 of us, If we had flown the tickets return would have been about £2,500 and we would have then had to pay for Hotels on top. So not as bad as you might first think. Also gave the old girl a good run out and the RV had a run to:biggrin:

Just found this picture of Bernkastel I thought you might like

Sorry for the pic sideways, I did correct it but when uploaded it went back to original orientation.

Just read all about your trip & looks wonderful.

When you say about pins & needles in your fingers, I can only sympathise with you, as I know all about that....!

Thanks for taking the time to share all of it with us.... Stu....
