Hi
Have a great trip:thumbup:

You may (will) catch the mozzies before they hibernate, so be prepared with repellant and after-bite-----you can buy local repellant EVERYWHERE
If you need ANY info that we could provide please ask:001_smile:001_smile:
We did find out that internet is available at most 'Statoil' garages---never used it though----also a dongle is available in Sweden very cheap----found out too late to bother with it:sad:-------if the mozzies give you too hard a time try to spend some time on the coast----they are not so bad there (especially if a sea breeze is blowing)
We would be interested in an idea of your intended route:001_smile:.
RVOC member 'Norway' lives in South Norway------but travel there can be expensive---------------once we hit Sweden we paid NO road tolls/ferries until we left for Germany:thumbup::thumbup:

Sweden is HEAVEN for motorhome travel:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

we are going across the bridge from Denmark to Sweden. Up the west side of Sweden and in through Oslo. Only really intend to do the fjords as we are only going for 3 weeks. I have been reading your threads and flatpackchickens so have gleaned some useful info from you. Have invested in mascerator. I am sure we will have some more questions and I will ask as they crop up. Many thanks for the info so far.

Hi
We would be interested to know what you pay to go over the bridge----we sailed under it:biggrin:-----it is quite a sight from the water:001_smile:----We believe that you can get a 'return' but as far as we know only valid for weekend.
The ferry from Malmo to Travemunde cost us € 78----(half price if booked 24 hrs ahead) our van is 24ft long-------
Check your legal max speed AND STICK TO IT-----The fines for speeding are VERY steep---even prison:sad:-----Norway was the only place we saw a mobile speed trap (hiding in long grass:sad:)
Don't get caught smuggling potatoes in-------
Fill-up with diesel and food, especially meat in Sweden:001_smile:

One of the trips we want to do - had hoped to do it this year but looks like we will have to wait 2 years before we can go now

Something to look forward to though

Have a great time - see you at Malvern

As a matter of interest what do they charge for the ferry these days and do you give size of unit or size with trailer and do they check

stayed last night in a campsite in munsterland, Germany. Paid 30 euros only to discover right next door was a German Aire and we could have fit in. Still campsite was nice and had a huge field outside their gates with electric hook up and toilets. Position N52.00437. E8.06518

To be honest that is not as much as we thought-----but we couldn't get a return price------(we were only going one way----had intended to return via. Finland/Estonia)
We hope you are getting the same weather as us:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
Did you go over the other bridge in Denmark----or approach Copenhagen from the South (a ferry from Germany ??---Puttgarden-Rodby ??)------that is a route we considered:001_smile:
