You are all expressly forbidden to talk about sunshine and warm nice weather, until I get there in a few weeks.

After six days at Pinar San Jose, Zahora we move further south in the morning to Tarifa , the southernmost tip of Spain. We hope to take a day trip across to Tangier before we move on to Manilva . From there a visit to Gib and all around.
Been a good stop here , a friendly bunch , a good party, nice walks and warm sunshine and a nice trip out to Medina Sidonia with Judy

Oh not to mention the Paparazzi :001_rolleyes:

After two nights at Camping Tarifa we move on to La Bella Vista at Manilva tomorrow.
Today we took a taxi into Tarifa, a lovely traditional Spanish town with very narrow streets. We walked to Isla De Las Palomas being the southernmost point of Spain looking over the Straits of Gibraltar to Morocco.
This afternoon a walk on the beach watching windsurfers and kite surfing.

We drove down into town, this morning...

Pretty views over the little island... had a ride round, and to be honest, not a lot here...

Found a nice little bar overlooking the fishing boats..

Afternoons washing and ironing.. (Not me, Judy)...:001_rolleyes:

Going on the coast road back towards Spain tomorrow...

Might pull off here in a day or so..

Got hire car for a few days while at Manilva.
Yesterday visited Marbella , shopping at La Canada, a large mall, just to keep er appy:001_rolleyes::wink:
Today went to Gibraltar, well worth the trip , a really interesting place.
Spent £68 for a driven guided tour, only young uns could do all the climbing necessary up that great big rock.
Saw the Apes, went into StMichaels caves, incredible caverns with beautiful stalactites , also into the tunnels where the cannon are all pointing at Spain.
A pub meal in a very English place and a steady drive back, a great day out

No problem, the policia just glanced at our passports through the window and waved us through, no queues at all. Perhaps being Saturday, not much to gain as not many going back and forth to work.
Didn't check us coming back into Spain either, but I'm sure the problem won't go away.

After 8 nights at Manilva and very enjoyable drinky poos with some old and new friends this morning we headed east and after a four and a bit hour drive through stunning sunlit coastal country we have arrived at Camping Cabo De Gata, about ten miles east of Almeria. It is a large very busy site with some good size pitches and ACSI rates.
The motorhome stopover in Almeria is closed but the drive along the sea front was well worth the diversion. BTW what does a circular sign with red border with the numbers 3.5t mean :001_rolleyes: I did a Magnus Magnusson " I've started so I'll finish " , bloody school run mothers double parked
A clear blue sky and 20degs sunshine , time for a San Miguel
