Well, here we are in the Loire Valley after an adventurous trip...

On the motorway (m5) only 30 mins from home & we had a puncture.. Thanks to Brian, we were on our way within a couple of hours up to the m25 traffic jam for an hour..... Once we cleared that straight into Dover, where the French were on strike in Calais... so they sent us to dunkirik ...

A quick few hours nap in an Aire, then straight down here arriving at 3.30 yesterday pm. This is a lovely site, right on the banks of the Loire with a bridge over it into the town centre....

We are off over the bridge now, as the time here is Cidre time....:beers::thumbup:

What's the name of the site you are on?

We are on a site in La Fleche called 'camping La Route D'or'.. It's about 40 km from Le Mans & is really easy to find and get in to...

Will post some pics when I find out what the boss has done with the camera..:001_smile:

Well, time to move on from the Loire Valley today & head down to La Rochelle area for a few days. This site has been lovely with very friendly people, apart from an old chap in a Eurobox who said it's going downhill, as they were letting weeds grow and hadn't trimmed the hedges this month...(T**ser).

We will be coming back here as it ticks a lot of boxes.(free internet for one)

Looks like we are going to get wet packing up as it's ******* down at the moment, but hey ho, never mind..

Hope the next site has internet access & can keep you guys posted.... :001_smile:

Hi all, well we are all back home safely after a nice adventure in France. We stayed at some lovely sites down the west coast, especially by the largest sand dune in Europe. I'm sure the boss will be putting the pictures on when she gets time.:001_smile:

Glad you had a safe and I guess uneventful trip home. If you have arrived to the same weather as us then it is heavy rain and thunderstorms
