Not somewhere we usually plan to visit but I am glad to report Thetford Forest site welcomed the RV!
They even circled five vacant pitches that take advantage of the big overhang and so showed some knowledge of how best to use the gravel pitches. There are grass pitches too but I had ticked the box for hard standing.
Looks like plenty of paths through the surrounding woodland and a memorial trail for the Desert Rats complete with an armoured vehicle at the entrance.
Only minor downside is the forestry commission concrete road that is a shared entrance has vicious speed bumps where it really doesn't seem necessary but perhaps they had the doughnut boy racers in the past?
EHU everywhere but no shower block (which never bothers us anyway).
£17.50 a night and £35 for non members.
