Capesthorne Hall

Well after our weekend in Peterborough show, then a couple of nights in Rivendale campsite between Buxton and Ashbourne we are now on Capesthorne Hall campsite near Macclesfield

We use the site quite often to visit daughter who lives in Macclesfield, it's a superb site very peaceful, very clean and very tidy, shower and toilet block is as always immaculate and there is only one other visitor on site, one of those funny tin tent things over the other side of the site oh and a few sheep in the fields around. No shop or bar but in the day you can go into the hall for tea and cake I think, oh and a tour of the hall and gardens!!

And most importantly we are here for a charity walk tomorrow night and I'd like you all to feel free to sponser us at our Just giving page here...........

Actually being a quality build RV (It's a Beaver I'm not sure if I mentioned that ) we have not got some skanky old piece of tin foil, we have a proper temporary mirror............. from a bathroom cabinet door that a helpful guy in a tile shop gave us and helped cut to size and attach with a roll of gaffa tape then gave us the roll, I offered money as thanks and he refused very strongly saying he know's I'd have done the same for him, so restoring our faith that there are decent people about........even in England

Thank you good people, it's not about how much it's about the thought and care, as said every little helps and all is appreciated.
Carl, Sarah's widower, was hoping to get 80 friends and family to do the walk with him has put a post up on Facebook that he has managed to smash his hopes and got over 100 to walk with him, last year when we did it there were a lot walking for Sarah but this year they will do here proud, it's going to be hard doing it without her this year but we will have to be strong for her
