Hi all, Debra and I have booked the ferry and are off in July to Norway. As it is a road trip we are taking the Dover Dunkerque ferry and driving up through Germany, denmark and sweden. We would love to stop the first day in Brugge, we have tried camping mumbeling and they can not accomadate our RV, we are also taking a motorbike trailer so quite large. There seems to be a quite large Aire at Brugge but the spaces are car park type slots, so dont think we would fit with trailer as well. I have seen suggested that the ajacent Coach Park allows overnight after coaches gone. Any knowledge or suggestions gratefully received.:001_smile:

Hi Paul, your right, tha actual aire is tight with elec barriers for access. We got in and out ok at 30ft but were not towing.the booth at the bus park is manned and this is where we paid, can't see any problem parking in coach area between aire and restaurant at rear of coach park and paying for aire pitch which includes electric, then just run a cable through the small hedge.drive over dump and fresh water next to bus booth. As an alternative we used the aire at gravelines just last week, looking over marina at river and 2 mins walk into village for bread etc.trailer would not be a problem for space. Before anyone shoots me down, yes I know they are heading east and gravelines is further west but it was quiet and we felt safe, now a bit rare along that part of france due to unwanted hitchhikers
Enjoy your trip,Alan

Emailed the tourist office and they confirm it should be ok to stay in the Coach Park overnight and still pay the fee. They also suggested parking along the ring road between gentpoort and kruisepoort. Had a look on Google and should be able to park but is right on 4 land ring road.:001_smile:

Have stayed on the coach park next to the aire with no problems. You will get on there with any size outfit. Many campers use the coach park when the aire is full as an overspill. The beauty of the aire is its only a 5 minute walk into the old town.
