Brittany Ferries Discounts?

Hi all, we are off to Spain in September and will be going from Portsmouth to Santander, in my previous post (Spanish Trip) it was suggested that it may be an idea to ask if there is a member of Brittany ferries on here they may let you use their membership number, I don't understand how it would work if I am not the member but will put it out there anyway.
If not is it worth becoming a member for a one off trip and what savings will I get if there is a members discount, thanks in advance waylyn.

I don’t think it’s worth joining for one trip.
£120 first year membership then £60 a year with 15% discounts on fares, cabins food etc
Guests using your code receive 10% discount on fares.
Membership covers either France OR Spain

Code is valid for as long as the ‘main’ member remains a current subscribing member

Problems have arisen where main member membership has lapsed, guest then no longer receives discount and is asked for additional payment upon check in

I am selling my RV now as I live in Costa Brava near the French border on the Mediterranean. I have had years of fun and adventures and it will be a waste of a RV if I kept it as someone would use it more than I will.
