I simply boycott any country that has repressive laws and demonizes minorities.
As long as we continue to support such countries with our tourism they will never change, and we encourage their hypocrisy with our own.
There are plenty of great places to go without tacitly supporting bigotry.

i would say there is no problem being gay in morocco. flaunting it in public then thats different . i know lots of gays that go there . reading rubbish like whats written above is ok . but dont believe what it says .

We have lots of "happy places".We tend to be "happy" in them whenever we go, that's why we go, I have been called MANY things in my life but never an "idiot" for visiting a place that has some of the most friendly and wonderful people, and certainly never by someone I have never met!!!! and I do not see why I have to justify to a stranger why I go there.
