i would say there is no problem being gay in morocco. flaunting it in public then thats different . i know lots of gays that go there . reading rubbish like whats written above is ok . but dont believe what it says .
seen more biggotry here in uk.

I simply boycott any country that has repressive laws and demonizes minorities.
As long as we continue to support such countries with our tourism they will never change, and we encourage their hypocrisy with our own.
There are plenty of great places to go without tacitly supporting bigotry.

All over the world......my partner is Filipino .......just don't go to places with bigots and hatred laws, and idiots who only care for their own comfort whilst ignoring the suffering of the locals.

I take it that you steer well clear of the Philippines then as much the same laws regarding homosexuals exist there. Do you consider all who do not agree with you an idiot or just those visiting Morocco.

next minute he will be saying there as never been gay bashing or paki bashing . in uk . none of its nice but it did and does go on . i,m not in agreement with it but it does happen . not so much down here as many have a sister .

We visit the Philippines every other year, last there for a month in December 2013 visiting family. When did you visit the Philippines??
Homosexuality is not, and never has been illegal in the Philippines....why have you not even bothered to Google that before making your statement above? Bizarre or lazy?
You should visit the Philippines. You would find that they do not even recognise that homosexuality is an issue....it is accepted as normal; not an issue....boring!
Sadly it is only those parts of the world where British ruled where homosexuality is outlawed and in some places still punishable by death.....an archaic legacy of hatred and bigotry. I am sure you do not subscribe to that do you?

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in the Philippines have a distinctive culture but limited legal rights. Gays and lesbians are generally tolerated, if not accepted, within Filipino society, but there is still widespread discrimination. The most visible members of the Filipino LGBT culture, the Bakla, are a distinct group in the Philippines.
You still have not answered my question re, idiots, and am pretty damned sure that Britain never ruled Morocco, that was the French.

But have a great time if that is your 'happy place' :)

We have lots of "happy places".We tend to be "happy" in them whenever we go, that's why we go, I have been called MANY things in my life but never an "idiot" for visiting a place that has some of the most friendly and wonderful people, and certainly never by someone I have never met!!!! and I do not see why I have to justify to a stranger why I go there.

Im in a happy place now.

Im in the RV

This is what this is all about Happy RVing be it on a carpark a 5 star site in England or anywhere
overseas.

There are lot's of things wrong in this world but my world is now and here.
It is not worth falling out with anyone over things you can only try to change.

Have a nice time in Morocco or wherever you choose to be.

You are right Alan. Google the term Costa del Sodomy :)

Must be hard booking a holiday anywhere then, in fact why are you in the UK? We demonize plenty of minorities, teenagers, unmarried mothers, ginger people, tuggers etc. In fact should you be going to the Philippines?

Western Sahara and parts of Mauritania were under Spanish governing but Morocco other than the enclaves was not.

Yes about 50% of the territory and I'd guess looking at the map about 50% of the population (assuming most of the population is coastal)
