Venice RV friendly site?

Does anyone know of a decent campsite in, or near to, Venice please?

I seem to remember someone a while ago mentioning a place down there but I'm blowed if I can find it now :mad:

The only two site near to Venice that I have on an old Big Pitch Guide map are

http://www.campingcavallino.com/en-venice/ which take up to 30ft and

http://www.marinadivenezia.it/ita/ which take up to 40ft.

Please remember it may be some time since if ever an RV or anyone from the BPG has contacted either site so they may no longer accept large RV's, if you contact them and they do please add them to the RVOC's RV Friendly Campsite data base? :thumbup: Hope these help?
 
We stayed here http://www.campingcavallino.com/en-venice/ last year. It is difficult manoeuvring amongst the pine trees but we were OK and booked an A plus pitch down by the sea. Do your research as there are hundreds of sites on this peninsula. You either use your own car or get a bus down to the port for easy access to all the sites by a boat service that's like the London underground but on the water! We had a great time.
