Yes it is a nice little site (well not so little now)
Caravan shop, cafe good size pitches.

They also have a Park home site now.

Thanks for posting - I might do a stopover at the end of the month when we arrive back on the ferry at Harwich.

Homestead

Yes a good site very peaceful and good if you like fishing ..fully serviced but water pressure is a bit low for city water but its not a big problem. Liked the fact that there is a pub that does food close a shop/post office and bus stops close. Went to Colechester ..nice shops etc and eating places..went to Clacton on sea...errr wasn't for us..kiss me quick hat town:biggrin:.. Plenty of walks so we will go back shame its only open March till October. Great Camping caravan shop with lots of widgets. Staff friendly too:thumbup:

Like the sound of this one Bill, maybe a replacement for Chichester when it goes.:001_smile:

If you did not like Clacton-on-sea you should have seen Jaywick :lol:

Thorpe is nice and Frinton-on Sea is a bit more up Market :001_rolleyes:

Colchester is a smashing place with lots of history (and Army boys ).

Nice one:thumbup: Have you added it to the RV Friendly Sites?

I want to spend time down there. Traced my maternal family to Harwich and Colchester in the 18th century:001_cool::thumbup:
