Just been told by Mrs Nette, that the first part of our next trip is into & through Switzerland..

So, has any one got any must see places they we just have to go to..??

(sensible answers only.... Mo...!!):001_smile:

It's a shame they charge triple for three axles on the vignette :001_tongue::wink:

It would be if I got some sensible input...

Mrs Nettie is on my case now for being silly again....:001_rolleyes:..

We're not going till September...

With the much higher membership it might be worthwhile putting the thread on MHFun :001_smile:

All I can add is that it is a really beautiful country - we went there about 10 years ago - I do remember being held up for a few hours at the border - they are very fussy on getting paper work correct and the slightest little thing takes for ever to sort out. Magical scenery - if you think you will need a week then allow a fortnight - its that type of place

have a great time

The first sensible answer..

Hi,
We have been to the Lauterbrunnen Valley a couple of times but not in the RV. There is a campsite just outside the village but it looks a little tight. Might be better staying at Interlaken then catching the train in. We are planning a trip there next year but doing the whole trip on the train as we will have my cousin with us who is train mad.

On our last trip there we drove in our Suburban and stayed at the Hotel Oberland. Great area with the train taking you every where.

We stayed at Yungfrau in Interlaken

many years ago and it seems to have got even better - did not think that was possible!

I agree with the above comments about the border, I did not understand what he meant by 'papers' and asked if I could move the unit out of everyone's way - only a matter of 25 yards. Found myself looking down the barrel of his pistol and decided not to move a muscle until told!!

Wherever you go - enjoy, it is a wonderful country.

If the border is that much trouble, go to Austria instead :rofl::rofl::rofl: same sort of scenery.
