Not long back from our French trip and just a couple of photos to show some of the places we visited.

This is the largest sand dune in Europe and worth a visit...

That's the one ... There is a great campsite right next to the dunes called 'camping Panorama Du Pyla', which is in the forest with EHU, shop, swimming pool & just about everything you need...:001_smile:

Did you notice if they have any fully serviced sites with water and drain? can see any prices for those so I'm assuming they don't.

Hi so pleased you had a good time.
We stayed on that site afew years ago in a tag axle Autotrail. At that time we had problems getting onto the pitches, did you have any problems or are there dedicated RV pitches. We loved the site and the area, and would definitley
go back for a visit

No, the pitches are not fully serviced. All pitches have electricity but no water or drainage. There are standpipes dotted around, but we just made sure we were fully loaded with water before we went there.

Although the site is advertised as suitable for 40 foot RV's and we did get in fairly easily, most of the pitches were small and more eurobox friendly. I would not have liked to have attempted to get in here in high season but as you say, it was worth the effort.

Pic of us in the site... Bit tight as you can see...
