Hi Larry,
If you are heading to Carrick on Shannon then look up Kilronan Castle. Great place for a meal. Plenty of space to park the whole rig, they might let you stay overnight, worth an ask. We were there a couple of years ago for our sons wedding, lives in Sidney but married an Irish girl.
