Have any members driven from Zamora-(Spain) to Bemposta-(Portugal) With a large-ish rig ?
Route,, Zamora - CL527-ZA323 into Portugal over the Bemposta Dam - and then the N221-7..

Is this road suitable for a 46ft rig ? Just google earthed the route and it looks beautiful, and would not mind having a look, zoom in to far and it goes blurry and cannot tell.

Thanks.

Hi

Never done that route.. looking at the map it has some real tight hairpin bends just as you go into Portugal.. no reason it can't be done, more a case of can you stand the excitement ...

I've used the more southerly route from Salamanca, it is also very scenic but without the heart stopping bends..

Reminds me of crossing the High Atlas in Morocco .. terrifying in places but not to be missed.. just put on a nappy :lol:

I watch for coaches.. if I see one in front I know it will be ok.. usually
