Wow, I always fancied the river sdi v8 but couldn't afford it, great cars.

I also had a rs turbo mk2 loved it and like you say it was more hassle trying to keep it, so I sold it, i did have a rs1600i stolen that is in my previous post the white one.

You have bought back some memories for my, I have motorbike when I was 14 and my dad said to me pass your car test and i will give you me car just like you grandad did for me, so when I was 17 and a 1/4 I passed my test and my dad gave me his avenger Tiger, boy I wish I still had it.

Hi @WESTIES ON TOUR
Yes memories for me as well. As I was going through the photos had lots of great memories come back.

The SDi where great, mine were older só think I paid about £400 for the first one and £900 for the blue one which was in good condition other than the crap 2ltr engine which I swapped. They did a 2ltr and two variants I think of a straight 6, 2,3/2.6ltr then the V8 which was very smooth, also a diesel.

I did see you had the rs stolen, mate had an xr3i and then xr2both stolen within a year. He ended up with an Orion and that wasn't as desired but that went like the clappers as well.

@Daybreaker
You've reminded me I had a corsa for a very short time, I think between the Saxo and the ranger.

Good times

Used to have this. My Hot rod, 1928 ford model A with 3.5 V8, fender less, bonnet less, and running on crossplys. I miss it.

Chris is that you driving 0the trucks ?.
I do know you was once world champion
Hi Jason
Yes I did drive all of them over a number of years, but if I have told you I was world champ, it was probably late at night talking b/s as usual when we had our beer goggles on. Have a look at this photo from the Nurburgring and you can see how good my driving was.
Chris, in the haulage game there's no point getting their fast if you ain't bought the stuff with you. I go a lot slower but I always take a trailer
