Hi.
We have just come back from Spain and found that the service station on the Barcelona motorway will lend an adaptor that fits the euro dish
also the price there for lpg was 56 centres a litre .
At Alicanti the fitting is the same as the U.K. price there was 61 centres a litre.

We carry most adapters for Uk and Europe, but nearly all the GPl stations we visited had there own adapters to use. There was one at zaragoza which had its own type fitting pumps but they had there own adapters for the tanks on the Rv. We have never this seen fitting for sale anywhere.
As there are few Gpl stations in spain as they cater for taxis only, most of the stations are on industrial estates or off the main roads and are sometimes a bit tight, Mercia comes to mind !!

Stations are listed with pics in the Spain/Portugal aires book

The pictures above, the first is the same as the third one will fit the lpg tanks on the cooking the other one will fit the lpg engine conversion
If you log on to autogas 2000 ltd there shows 8 adaptors i think the new euro quick release is the one to buy.

ACME screws inside your Bayonet.

French Dish converter screws on to the ACME on your domestic tank

English Bayonet converter, screws onto the ACME on your domestic tank

Spain has a mixture of English Bayonet, French Dish and the new Euro adaptor
Portugal is all French Dish
ACME is only found in the low countries I believe.

See under my signature for Autogas map

Hi.
The services with the gas is on the northern motorway bypass ie if you come from France heading for Valencia I think it is called en valls will get more info and let you know later today.

Also gas at Alicanti go around the bypass until you come to the n340 then head back in to Alicanti you will come to large round storage tanks on the right the gas is just past on the left it is a repsol and only sell gas.
Clive.

lpg

Hi Clive are you talking about the one at Santa Perpetua de Mogoda? junction 18 on the AP7, see here:http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?f=...578,0.021007&z=16&iwloc=00048c63922f6db6a937e or have you found another.

There are at least 4 other stations in Barcelona selling Autogas, those and the Alicant one are all on my map, link below.

Olley

Hi.

Yes I think this is the one it was on the ap7 and around that point the lpg is right in front of the petrol pumps, these services are not as big as I expected as people say they are not to safe but well worth stopping for lpg.
