I've used a Tom Tom Pro Truck for about six years now. You can input your vehicle's dimensions, switch between car, caravan, bus, or truck. You can even include any "dangerous cargo" (ideal for a full black tank!). It has lifetime free map updates, it's easily updated via my PC and, with the exception of one or two "obvious" errors, hasn't let me down.

We use a “Wifey” it’s so nervous it checks everything. I even have to wear the correct shirt and shoes. Bad weather ? It shuts down if we attempt to move even been known to disable the ignition.
Bowel movements and bladder fullness are also a condition in case I get caught short on the motorway. Think I’ll upgrade it and plug it direct into the mains :D:D:D. SHHHH you ain’t seen me RIGHT
