I posted about this site 3 years ago but cannot find it to update. Anyway I went up there last week and the entrance has been modified, so that the splay down the hill is widened and makes swinging in and out for my 37ft a more manageable exercise. Once inside there is plenty of room to move around, but it is much more popular now!

Hi Michael & Sally, Is this the Orange Grove site at L'Albir and this link? http://www.orangegrovecamperpark.com/

I get it mixed up with this one on the sea front at Albir http://www.camping-capblanch.com/

not sure if Capblanch could accomodate BIG RV's :(

Hi Mick & Pat
The Orangegrovecamperpark is correct. The other one is down on the front at Albir as you say, and is all a bit too grubby even if I could fit in! The great American style restaurant bar in front of it is derelict now! Orange grove is a test on the roads up to it and the directions on the web site dont work once you get to the go round the palm tree bit and 16 metres with the trailer. The site now has full service pitches all down the right hand side, and you need to book one. I personally like the site but it is out a bit, although only a short run down to the front under the 1.8 metres bridges on a bike, a harder cycle back unless you have electric bikes. We dont as I believe it sort of defeats the object!

Michael

Just noted whilst browsing the Orange Groves FAQ's that the maximum length permitted is 10mtrs :(............unless changes have been made?

Yes that was before the splay change and as a result of my visit!! I asked Michelle about the restriction and she did not know it was still on there.

Think that during our time at M C B we may have a drive up there and check out the site for future use, are you currently there?
