Well here we are again, we came here last year and loved it, this year the same.
Plenty to cycle to, sand dune away from the beach and an Aire that is enormous and will cater for 40' people, we are 34' and happy.
Fantastic city too.
10 euro a night inc WCs unlimited water and dumping and a bread van at 9 am.
Bit windy but not bad at all.
One point, when heading in from the motorway, our sat nav told us to take the normal route at a point where their was a sign giving lorries an alternative route, we took the normal route, it is a little close to the edge stuff, if you know what I mean, take the lorry route, it might not be so hairy.
During the season there is a lido and water sports next door, so good entertainment too.

Is 'Narbonne le plage' the name of the camp site Steve?

Thanks Chris.

Can you get satellite there?
Hi people
Cannot get satelite here, all the foreigners point the dishes south / south west, ours points East , so I get bugger all, though we actually don't need it, don't miss it and the days just fly bye.
It's a beautiful place and guisann just a 10 minute stroll is stunning with its port and local shops.

Their are many camp sites here, lakes for all sorts of activities and great beaches.
The place I mentioned is an Aire listed in the southern section of the aires book.

We are off to aigues mortes in the morning then after a day or two onto St tropez, Andrea needs to feel at home, she has brought all new stuff to wear when we are there, think she went to primano.

Well I am back here and writing again.
Unfortunately after negotiating a 3.5 ton road, the only one to the Aire and it starts with such a slope, the rack on the back took a pounding and it sliced the cables to the towing board, it was closed, so very unhappy. It looked a great place to visit and something that I thought would be good to do.
We turned around, fortunately there was a big turning circle, this meant I could do a 6 point U turn and we drove out, it really was a great place to visit and if you can either hook up at the site above in the thread, which I did not see until today, ( due to Internet restrictions on my phone now sorted.) or indeed we saw a couple of pull offs leaving the town that would have catered for a short bike ride. However, she wanted the sun so off to St Tropez without stopping.
We usually aim for Ramatuelle, we have been with the 28' Autotrail before so reckons we had a chance of getting in, good place and right on the beach.
But we thought lets go somewhere different, so we went for La Gaillarde, large ish Aire but cramed and not a place for RVs, but we got on, the guys pulled together and got us an easy spot to drive in and yes on Friday reverse out of, so do not come here as a planned stop for RVs, smaller vans up to about 7.5m.
We are here until Friday now and then on our way home, back to work and the Lincoln show
