Hi all we’re new to the RV but now have our first and are planing a trip down to Milan at Easter, do any of you know of any good stop overs that can accommodate our Rig which is 10.5 meters also routes is it good to go through France and what about tunnels were a V10 so not sure if there are any issues with emissions or the use of LPG going through them. Lastly are there any recommendations for sites heading toward Florence and any routes we should avoid.

Thanks in advance
Nigel

Welcome Nigel to the forum (y)

Last time I checked LPG vehicles were not allowed on the shuttle although the rules may have been changed after Brexit.
DFDS are best ferry.
Luxembourg best for cheap fuel.
Traveled through France for years with no problems in 12m RV plus trailers
French tolls are very expensive.
Join ACSI for books, card for cheap sites in Europe.

All the above advice from Steve is sound (from my experience). I don't believe the ban on LPG powered vehicles using the channel tunnel has been lifted. if it had I'm sure we would have heard about it from other sources.
