Stayed there a few years ago for a Christmas rally. First RV to park up sunk into the grass. As the site was empty we parked up on the roads. Reasonable site with warm clean facilities. It was a tight turn in and the exit is a narrow one way road used by commuters to park their cars.

Definitely need a car. There is a bus to Hitchin 15 minute walk away or train station 5 minutes walk.

Handy, but pricey 10p a litre more than my Morrison’s that’s near on £30 extra to fill my 3 tanks
Would be fantastic if all bigger campsites started to supply LPG may be a new trend starting

Not like that now , nice walk into local village couple of pubs.
Still tight in but ok.
Loads of big hard standings caters for all
For us it's good child friendly too
Theres a walking path that goes right past the entrance

Worth a look.

We like it 2nd time back for a cheeky weekend away
