Fuel Pump?

Hi folks

Martha is in the garage for an MOT but we have a problem with, we think, the fuel pump.

She has been standing during lockdown and so wehen we took her for her MOT it was the first outing for several months. We had run the engine but there wasn't a lot of fuel in her.

On the trip to the garage she alternated between revving and almost cut out. We think it is probably bad fuel/stuff stuck in the pump. The garage want to dismantle the front end just to get at the pump and we are sure this is not necessary. Some YouTube videos show removing the front seats and the passenger side front windscreen and getting it out that way.

Any advice greatly received. She is in a lorry friendly garage but i'm not convinced they really know what to do with Martha.

Thank you
Kay & Mike
