Firstly, let me say that we are in no way financially connected to this business. They were just so helpful on our recent trip that I thought they deserved an advert and might also help some other RV'er who was in difficulty.

On our way back, we had just successfully negotiated the outer ring road around Madrid, en route to the A1 and Burgos, when Les said that he thought the brakes were 'sticking' on the front driver's side. We stopped at the San Sebastian de los Reyes Repsol services to check. Thank goodness we did as the wheel was smoking!

After a long wait for the wheel to cool down, we discovered that it wasn't a frozen brake and we eventually found someone who spoke enough English to understand that we needed an HGV garage. We followed a helpful soul five minutes down the road to an IVECO specialist (although they will fix anything).

We arrived at 5.30 on a Bank Holiday Friday. They looked at the wheel, discovered that it was an oil seal that had leaked out all the oil, topped up the oil, found us a campsite 20 miles up the road, apologised that they couldn't do anything until the Tuesday morning and asked us to come back for 0900 on the Tuesday after the Bank Holiday. This we did and two hours later, we were on the road back up to Burgos, £170 lighter!

I'm not sure many UK garages would have been that interested on a Bank Holiday Friday afternoon. They were excellent, took off the brakes, air cleaned the oil, all in a garage where you could have eaten your dinner off the floor (not that you would want to!). Across the road was a great cafe, so everyone was happy.
