Got here Friday for 3 weeks, there are several RV's and 5ers on the site. We are next to a Daymon Daybreak, unoccupied. Anyone have theirs here?

Tight is right, even with my tag lifted I had to go over one kerb. But its a great position, easy walk to the marina and loads of restaurants. We were given a pitch on the front rank.
The pitches have 32 amp sockets too, but I am not sure how to get my load EMS to be duped into seeing 50amp (120volt so 25 amps proper electric), so if anyone knows how to do this please share.

It is a great site, easy access off the road and a helpful site manager. If you are over 34ft the roads around the site are a test, not impossible, just tight for a new site in places. It will depend on your turning circle. But the pitches are worth the effort, in my opinion. I have added a picture through our windscreen.

I completed an entry for the friendly sites but wasted my time, it never appeared and it seems that there are 2 ways of entering but frankly there is no guidance, that I can find, and the one I completed had some disclaimer saying it would only be published for 30 days, so I dont know what that is about? I sort of gave up having done it all once and achieve nothing.

I have a deal with Britannia for both the coach and the car, which means I can get the whole rig back home with one company, did the same with insurance for similar reasons. They will only handle v large coaches on a case by case basis. I have a letter from the underwriter there which specifically covers my coach, with definition of its weight, length and height quoted. At renewal the agent knew of the agreement as it is on the database and would be seen by any company member arranging breakdown recovery. A friend of mine with a Windsport was refused but we do not know why.

Join C & CC and take the RAC arrivals European cover. We have it but have not used it, but was assured when telephoning that there is no limit on size or recovery and repatriation costs. It is specialist corporate cover for the club so normal limits do not apply.

We are with Safeguard insurance & recovery is through them. Turns out it is AA Europe and are very good as we found out in Spain last year with a blow out on Christmas eve..:001_smile:

But I thought this limit applied:-
£2,500 overall limit per claim
Within this overall sum there are no individual
benefit limits except where stated. You may make
up to two claims in a membership year.

So I would think that getting the coach back to the UK from say southern Spain, inside that figure, would be a test? Or is this limit not applicable? Interested in your understanding as the cost would be better than mine.
