Awning shame

I was deeply ashamed of my awning at Stratford last week we hadn’t used it since before COVID-19 took a hold and once opened out it was all covered in black mould.
Well nothing could be done about it t at the weekend but once home I spent today cleaning it up.

My shameful awning.....

Today I finally started fixing the damage done by "G.A.S. auto centre huddersfield" when they reversed the RV in to a Transit I did a temp repair at the time fixing the broken lights and drilling holes to stop the cracks spreading any further.
But the weather was so good today I cleaned up all the cracks stiched it together with some 40 plus plastic weld metal staples, backed it up with fibreglass and rebuilt the the front with fibreglass will sand back tomorrow once fully cured fill and paint....

I tell you what those staples are a fantastic invention.
