Home tomorrow but got to call in at Gloucester services(southbound) on the M5,best services on the motorway system in our opinion.....I even get my diesel on there with it being Esso and having the CC Esso discount card.
Lovely butchers as well that do the best black pudding !!!!!(Northern Thing)(y).
Hope all going well at Adi's.

Nice photo!

Billy no mates!
That’s just how we like it. However these moments are few and far between. Wild camping is becoming more difficult due to the numbers of vans. Also inconsiderate folk screwing it up for everyone else and getting us all moved on. It’s usually caused by folk spreading out and using these areas like camp sites with fires and all manner of stuff screened about. Mainly though it’s folk dumping tanks or just simply crapping and peeing in bushes or behind their vans.
We lived just 100yds back from where we are parked in this photo. In the two years we were there we never saw more than 5 vans at a time. Over Christmas there must have been 20 here and other nice spots too.
As I write we are half a mile up the coast parked up with about 8 other vans. We never saw this before.
There will come a time when It’ll become like the UK and we’ll not be able to park anywhere. Shame.
This mornings views.

Lovely pub grub and a few pints.
Walked back on road as path to wet, not one car passed us, quite spooky.
Woke up this morning and van, beat in mind it only a transit was rocking like a porn film being made inside, god knows what would have been like in RV ?
Got to hang around for new inverter to arrive at Aid4 then fit ,so wonder round WEYMOUTH on the cards.
Have walked around a Portland before but think we may get blown into the sea !!!
then off to Beaworthy( near Holsworthy), Sue found nice site for tonight.
Staying with friends, then back up to the smoke Sunday.
John, do you mean there is actually a butchers on the services ???

More German's as well Steve this year, got one here in an American A Class.
French, Germans and funny enough Spanish too. A Spaniard in a camper in his own country was un heard of a few years back. It’s largely the spanish day vans Kite surfing that are causing the hygiene problems.
Anyway maybe we can start a new thread on the subject when we all get back to Blitey.

Hi Malc. Gloucester services is one of the few privately owned service stations,I believe the family have another up in Cumbria on the M6 on the same lines. It's all local produce.....No Macdonalds or crap like that !
The price for food is motorway prices but far better quality than usual.(y)
I bought a great big chunk of black pud whilst Ci was like a kid with her nose pressed to the butchery window drooling over all the red meat she isn't allowed to have !!.
The parking area for motorhomes is brill, well away from the lorry park,I know that Brian Evans(Brianjojosh) on their way home from the Bristol Ballon Festival a couple of years ago thought it was so nice they spent the night there !
Just after lunch today we had the whole motorhome area to ourselves.(y)

just got a transit long wheel base high top fixed bed camper with 4 wheel box trailer for bikes and bike gear.
Not sure whether we’ll go back to dark side for a while.
So much more freedom to move about. Done over 2000 miles in last 4 weeks.

No Steve an old Fred with a 320 Chevy diesel.
John always preferred the German's to the French, loved it when I was stationed there as a young squaddie.
The only trouble seen here has been 2 occasions both French on French!
Civita in a previous life also lived in Germany as her husband was in the remi.
She has kept in touch with her german friends after all these years.
They live down on Lake Constance which we visited 2018 with LarrynWin.
Really lovely people and made us feel very welcome.Love the country and the people.
The french are a bit of an aquired taste but to be honest they've never done me any harm (y)
