2000 Holiday Rambler Ambassador

Hello peeps,
Nice to make your acquaintance. Bought this lady in April, to live in primarily and obviously have a few adventures in as well.
I got out of the rat-race and have been an RV dweller for the last 19 years, previously in a 1997 Georgieboy Cruise Master diesel 'pusher'. That was an absolute 'gem' of a motor, having only done 17,000 miles when I bought her and only having done 27,500 when I sold her two weeks ago.
My new baby has lovingly been looked after and done 66,000 miles on a 5.9 litre Cummins. Been fitted with three solar panels and has a 7.5kva diesel genny up front. So far I'm well happy with it!

What area of the world are you residing in mainly? We are in Weymouth and run ABM RV with our 3 lovely dogs and get out a few times a year in our RV mainly helping to run events but sometimes we get a little holiday too

Hello adi4. I'm in North Kent, close to the river Medway plotted up on a private piece of land. Surrounded by trees, no neighbours to speak of and a 180 degree view of the sky. I love it!

By the way, I saw your post about steamy things. I AM a puffer nutter. I've got a 1930 Aveling & Porter steam roller and a 3/4 size replica of a Mann 6t 'Express'. I LOVE steam!

Having had an HR Ambassador, I can definitely say you have made an excellent choice. I spent many years living and travelling in it and loved it.
The only downside I found was they aren’t fireproof

Sadly, it appears that all RVs and Motorhomes flammable….

Steve's Ambassador went up in flames so still a sore point I think. Vehicle next to his was on fire and took his as well!
