We fitted a eberspacher under a wheel arch and tank for it under other as did not want it in a locker and no locker suitable.
It blows heat from side of kennel into footwells which helps when travelling.
If your competent enough then common sense on damp ect.
Genni oil and filter.
Boiler/Furnace , if working fine. Can not see really what could be done.
Save your money for beer and travelling .
When we had the caravans, a sevice was put a hand on wall to check damp, switch things on and off...
Did not mind doing ours, would we do it again. Yes if it's our own Rv. Think we did the job for about 2k, But that was with 6 solar panels, new controllers, repainted all fittings, extra sealer ect ect. And other stuff bought nothing to do with the roof job, Just I can not help myself in bits...
Good Morning All
Had a lovely day out at Home Sleap visiting Uncle Tony, grand evening meal out and the rain stopped for drive back to Dot4.
Today is to change Water Pump as it cycled its last cycle. Was thinking problem was the charger because of the way the pump was acting.
So hope it will...
We possible think our charger could be starting to struggle to charge the leisure battery's. But at 21 years old the components have done well.
So If it is at end of life, Do we change like for like or go for a posher type. If so what should we look at. Do we stay with 120v or go 240v.
Our first encounter with Dot4 was how power hungry Rvs are.
We could survive in the caravan for a week, possibly more on one 110amp battery.
RV was if I remember 3 days. That was before we fitted Solar, now if weather bright, months.
And its Silent power.
