A smooth Stena Line ferry trip from Fishguard to Rosslare and now on site for one night at Wexford.
We travel to Waterford tomorrow to stay for a few days on the coast south of Waterford.
Sites are expensive compared to England at around 24 € + 3€ hook up + 3€ extra car although so far wi fi free :001_rolleyes:

And the Guinness tastes great. Have a good one.

It's been a chill day, a steady run from Wexford to Dungarvan, a couple of long walks on the beach and a lovely warm sunny end to the day.
Touring the coast road to Waterford in the morning and a look round the town

Excellent.
we hope to do Ireland at some point, could be this summer and tentatively looking at holly head for the crossing and looking at a 3/4 week stay.
hope you are keeping a log.

Aahh... Bejasus and begorah, welcome to The Emerald Isle. You"ve just increased the Irish RV population by a fair percentage I"d say

Gets a shade confusing when you listen to them talking think they must be speaking Gallic and then find its actually Polish :001_rolleyes:

At my age I can no longer increase any population :001_tongue::lol:

Evenin all from almost sunny Clonea Bay :001_cool:
Today we drove the scenic route along the coast to Waterford , some beautiful coves , incredible scenery and warm chatty Irish folk.
If ever you are this way you must see Stradbally Cove, un commercialised, not a shop in sight and a smashing place to walk .
Waterford was pleasant with an interesting Cathedral , looks relatively ordinary from outside but almost Venetian inside with pillars and a very decorative ceiling, impressive.
Off to Cork tomorrow and again will take the scenic route

Today, Tues, we drove to Cork (in the car) and in very warm sunshine enjoyed a wander around what is a very nice, interesting city. Also spent too much
We drove back and wandered off the main road to visit Youghal, picturesque Ardmore and Helvick Head.
There is no shortage of incredible scenery and friendly people, they all want to talk, so refreshing
On the road tomorrow headed for the C Club site at Glenbeigh, overlooking Dingle Bay, for a few days .
Weather dry and not cold
