Default My Toad

Well my current toad is a Citroen ZX 1.9 diesel SX (97 P)

Great little car and does nearly 50 mpg however you drive it.

A fame is a Chris Cox with jockey wheel (buy one with pneumatic tyre as much better, not one supplied by Chris)

Use trailer board as wiring through the car lights don't work to well on the two toads with the CC frame.

Judging by the tyre tracks John, did you reverse that at high speed backwards before the photo-shoot?

Our Toad is a Colt CZC2 convertible, using a Car-A-Tow A-frame. Excellent little car, and a real boon in the summer (when we get some sun) when you can cruise around the locality with the top down.

We've just bought a toad, it's a 1998 Fiat Seicento Sporting with a Car A Tow frame.. a real bargain at £650 ..!

It's in lovely nick, it's been a toad for the past five years and lovingly cared for, the couple we bought it from who have given up full timing.

I imagine that the extra costs that a toad incurs will be more than made up for with the convenience. No more soggy baguettes when shopping for breakfast on your bike in the rain.

Hi Jim

I've resisted buying a toad for that reason preferring to cycle or use public transport, this was fine abroad with the sun shining but no fun in the UK winter with the nearest shops 4 mls away.
It will also allow us to explore a bit further afield when touring, seeing places that the RV just can't go and are too far to cycle, also useful for reconnoitering sites and aires.
We have found the French public transport excellent and very cheap, so will still prefer to use it rather than drive when visiting cities.

Having now towed over 100 ml I was amazed how easy it was, if I hadn't a rear view camera I wouldn't have known it was there, now wish I had bought one two years ago ..

Its probably lighter that that twin axle trailer you had especially when filled with the bike and other fulltiming stuff
