Default Motorhome Stopover

Hi
We are going to Ilfracombe in Devon in whit week and St Austell in August. We have booked Saturday start dates but would like to travel down the night before and stop somewhere.

Does anyone know anywhere to stop en route from the Midlands that either don't charge or charge a nominal fee.

Any help much appreciated

Cheers
