FIRE: RV burns at Kennewick gas station

Kennewick A motorhome caught fire at the Tesoro station at 27th Avenue and Highway 395 Sunday afternoon, but the fire did not spread to nearby gas pumps.

A clerk at Tesoro quickly shut down the pumps and called 911 when the fire started, said Kennewick Capt. Corey Edden.

Tri-City visitors were getting ready to return to California in the motorhome when flames were seen underneath the motorhome which was by the pumps at the gas station, Edden said. Four people were in the vehicle.
