There was a rumour going about Brian that Countrywide Farmers were going to expand towards East Anglia unfortunately that has not happened yet!
But i am hoping that Londy is in the Suffolk area like Olley hinted at so that i can get in on the deal as well that is if he does not blow himself up first !

That location is currently on our door step and where we last filled our RV's Domestic LPG tank.

We asked about the lower rate as well as getting it delivered to our RV on our camp site.

I cannot recall the reason why they couldn't fill our RV and charge the lower rate, but as far as delivering, first the excuse was a different filling nozzle was used and we would have to open an account and buy 100's of gallons at a time........I haven't given up yet.

Default LPG

Hi Ya alll

It does appear i would have a good customer base around Suffolk. Unfortunately we are on the Gower Peninsular so no mains were we are.

What and when i start to attempt the drilling of the tank i will post. its a good site this, all the other sites seem to be full of small time whingers and backbiters instead of some good support. Glad i joined. Londy

Earlier today in Stafford I noticed a Countrywide Farmers LPG tanker and wondered if they could supply LPG to my RV whilst on our farm camp site and also at the lower tax rate.

Phew, the phone call was hard going.

First the staff member didn't know if a domestic delivery tanker had the same filling nozzle as for delivering Autogas.

Even if they are the same I was told 'No Way' could the driver fill the domestic LPG tank on our RV.

When we were in the USA one day we noticed an LPG tanker touring a camp site that also housed a number of static or park homes, I flagged the driver and asked if he could top up our RV LPG tank, "No Problem" the driver replied.

One day this country will catch up.

Hi Mick countrywide are account only, without one even if he could fill your tank he couldn't have charged you for it. And to be fair, I would imagine there usual delivery is 1000litres plus, not a piddling little 80 or so.

Would you expect a BP tanker driver to top up your diesel tank?

They did in America and 80 gallon is 80 gallon but if they don't want the business, like I said to the girl on the phone, every penny helps.
