If any of you guys with a BIG RIG need an MOT station in the West London area, I can recommend Hillingdon Vehicle Specialists. I have my European coachbuilt tested there and I know of a MHFun member who has had good service from them when having his 30+ ft ARV tested.

Easy access and very helpful tester. Gave loads of advice. The printout for the brake tests also showed the axle weight, very useful.

We Are.

Redvers MOT Testing Station.
We test Class 4,5,& 7 and specialise in large & Long Vehicals In the main Limousines and MOTORHOMES of all sizes, we do NOT Activley seek repairs as due to the size of the vehicals we test we Prefere "Test and Go" However we are more than capable of carring out repairs if neccasery.

We have a 10 meter prefabricated test pit.
A 3 tonne and 12 tonne jacking beam
And an entrance hight of more than a double decker bus.

We are located in swindon Wiltshire, just of the M4 at Juction 15/16 and on the main arterial routes from oxford and gloucester within 2-3 miles good easy access.

Tea coffeee & a warm welcome.

i`ve had my geogie boy tested the last two years by Leeds city coucil garage Torre Road Leeds and they are really helpful passed mine no bother and gave me tips to prolong the life of my motorhome for future mot`s but the best bit is when i rang to book my test they were full for a month but suggested i rang after 4pm to see if night shift could do it, bingo they test til 8pm

Contact your local council. They will test the biggest of RV's at thier yard and are usually VERY fair as because they are not allowed to do repair work for the public (only MOT test) they have no axe to grind.
I used Manchester city Councils Depot at Gorton monastery for 10 years without any probs. Only thing is, they only test by prior appointment.
