Default rear bumper required

Does anyone know where we can source a rear bumper for our Fleetwood Coronado. Unfortunately we had an accident last year and pranged the back end and need a replacement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As no body seems to know where you can get one put a picture on here of the damage and lets see if any of us know how or where to repair it, every thing is repairable, the only question is economically.

All the best Rick

A few fair years back i used to work on marine fiberglass .. Did some engines and other repairs on hulls .. We use to make all sorts of bits for boats so i am sure if it were fiberglass someone could repair it... If metal the i bet there are some out there that can do it...

When i was in Mick Gould commercials recently i saw them rebuilding the frotend of a truck...ok they had pattened parts.. But knowing them i am sure they could do it or know some body shop that could make or rebuild a damaged rear end... Even i have made panels for my Dodge Champion Titan when i took out te skirt in Holland... Just went to a commercial body maker and bought some material and cut sheet ally to fit then resprayed it with cans ... Anything is possible..

Bob

It won't be a dificult job Bob some thing we used to under take all the while it is cost though depending on man hours a repair is some times uneconomical as you know.

AS per Rick depending on the damage it may be cheaper to buy a new one, the only place would be Lazy days Florida but it may not be available any more from Fleetwood.
There wont be any one here that would have one. We have done similay things here with front, rear caps its just labour intensive but its sometimes the only way.

Default Rear bumper needed

Rear bumpers are at nearly all rv salvage places. The bumper is held in position with just a few bolts. Any trailer rear bumper can be made to fit any trailer. Some welding maybe required.... Frank in Idaho

Thanks for this info but we don't seem to have rv salvage places in the UK. Do you have any other suggestions?

Martyn won't be cheap, and make sure you see it before you pay for it.
