Default Help removing a stain

Can anyone suggest anything to remove a stain on our RV interior ceiling. It is a beige carpet fabric and we have had a small leak which has left a stain, which we believe to be rust but are not sure.

We have tried most carpet stain removers, lemon, white vinegar and a steamer but unfortunately it has not helped. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Hi Gertipurple

Try and very diluted bleach solution. I have tried this method and although it did not remove the stain completely, it did improve it. Maybe if I had been braver and used a stronger solution I may have had better results!

How about Vanish Spray , but test it first in a corner, I find it works on most fabrics/carpets.

Default Actifiz is the answer

Hi

We have had the same problem a really small leak that has stained our bedroom ceiling carpet. We tried everything and then used that new CIF actifz cleaner that's designed for the kitchen etc. Its been advertised on the TV recently and is in a green bottle, its really good and has taken most of the stain out. Just make sure you test an area first to make sure it doesn't take the color out of the carpet, but we had no problems at all with it, leak fixed and stain gone now.

Hope that helps !

LJ and MW
