Forum 'Album' Problem.

Are any other members who have set up albums within the forum experiencing any problems?

At present I only have the one album which is on page 7 and titled 'American & Canadian Tour 2007 / 09, the album contains 27 pictures.

The first problem I noticed is that I no longer have a 'Front Picture'. When I click on my album 'link' the page changes from the page 7 list of albums to, 'Recently Updated Albums' and a strip again containing a 'link' to my album which again flashes off for a split second before I again see the 'Recently Updated Albums' and Mick & Pats Albums with the 'link' to American & Canadian Tour 2007 / 09.

I would urge all of you with albums to check that yours is in order.

Jim When you have a moment can you check out what the problem may be, unless there is a dedicated album moderator?

I put a couple of posts on yesterday which disappeared - there was no way they were contentious so its a problem lurking somewhere. ( they did not even mention a GFG )

hi mick yes i believe there is a problem and i have sent jim a pm reporting iti put on an album of Americana which was ok but when i came to add another it kept on bringing up recently updated albumsanyway i will speak to Jim later today after all it is sunday and the poor man has to have one day offregards brian jo and josh

I think the forum albums have too many pictures in them. In fact they supposed to only hold a few profile pictures, I have increased the number by ten fold and its creaking. Its not supposed to work like a pucker album.

I need to get some proper album software, so that we can all upload to our own albums as well as meet and rally albums etc. I could use the same album software as on Fun but that costs 150, I'll investigate, there might be something compatible with our software and server config that is cheaper.

In my original post I mentioned that from page 27 to 31 there are approx 41 entries that do not contain any pictures.

These may not take up much forum space but it helps.

I for one would also prefer that the number of pictures per member be limited rather than to cause you to have to increase the 'size' of the forum which would inevitability cause you expense leading to subscriptions for members

Jim, this information may or not help, I have opened the RVOC forum both using Firefox 5.0 my normal browser as well as Internet Explorer 9.

The problem occurs using either browser.
