Default Never Mind Length - Question About Width

When I view the forum (usually from my iPhone)'some posts are wider than others?

Just interested if anyone knew why ie is it the way the poster posts, or is it just the iPhone that does it?

I suppose the starter is whether this happens to others, or is it just me?

Please feel free to ignore my uses ramblings, im clearly not of sound mind!

Even when I make the screen bigger on my iphone I can't read the dam thing so I give up.

Must be an age thing.

Age? Didn't you know the Internet part of an iPhone was only useable by those that could pick themselves up by their own ears.

I see that sloberdoberbob is always amending typos and that's on an iPad. Clearly little hope then with an iPhone!

ps and no I can't do the ears thing!

My guess, for what it's worth is, it people typing either very long single lines or using wide screens and sometimes it appears to be insertion of large photos causes it, could be wring?

As to these i whatsits, I work in technology every day some evenings, weekends I can't be bothered (lazy, head in sand etc etc)

Wink I know bash Bob day

Morning all... I am getting better and better each day.. that is what I tell myself... then I read the posts.

Yes Rick and Oosa .... combination of spelling, big fingers and IPAD doing as it wants.. s me round the bend... see this morning I am on the main computer (watch it will be no difference).. but the IPAD does do some strange things.. I re read the post..all OK and then send.. re read it and lots of things have changed. Not sure if I missed them (I doubt) or as it transmits it goes off on one.

No I cannot do it on the IPHONE4 that is just to small for my fingers, Sue uses that and I still use my very old pay as you go (bigger buttons as no fancy screen) ... The IPAD is great, do not get me wrong, but it does do the odd strange thing. But for ease of just using it where you are then it wins out for me. Otherwise I have to wheel myself to the office across the patio... I hate rain.. but it is horses for courses.

One thing I suffer is when I am trying to open the latest post it often manages to take me to the link beside (adverts on the right).. pain in the bum.. mind you Jim gets a hit that someone looked at the advert, even if I did not want to.

Can you not rotate the screen on the IPHONE to see everything on it? Sue has my one with her at work otherwise I could check it myself.

got that Rick... that is the trouble of being an Eastend lad... better than being from Essex or North of Watford .. have they still got passport control at Watford Gap or is it at Leicester East now?

Anyway I am going to keep saying .....better and better every day in every way and may be I will believe it.. big fingers, bad spelling and all.

Bob

Well I used to use a N97 and read posts fine and replied fine.
I treated myself at Christmas to a I Pad top of the range does anything everywhere but cannot bloody spell or puts letters or words where I don't want them. And god try to get rid of a word.
But other than that is a great bit of kit. Not used my lap top since then.
