Default Recommending a Campsite

My local Campsite (Callander) has changed Manager, the grumpy old farmer got the boot.

I printed out the recommendation form, saw the new onsite manager and got the answers, only too glad to see RVOC members at £13 a night with hook up.

Filled in the form on the web..........................................nothi ng

2 weeks later sent the contact email asking if it was received or should I resend............................................ .........nothing

2weeks later sent another email
.................................................. .................................................. ....nothing

am I doing something wrong? is there a fault with the website?

or if the campsites not wanted, just say,

Hi Richard

Are you talking about one of the sites in the Trossachs or are you talking about a site called Callander?

Do you mean you are having trouble with this site trying to provide info for the RVfriendly campsites?

Richard,

Are you referring to the email 'contact' facility that a lot of web site have these days, where you fill in boxes marked with an * name/email address/ phone number/ then you write in any remarks or comments before hitting the send button?

If so I will agree and it is not only camp sites that either fail to reply or there is a fault with there web site, the trouble is, you forget when you sent it and what you wrote surely they must think it a little strange NOT to get any emails via that system or is it the occasional ones who don't get through?

Mick

Yes, that exactly. The site is Kelty Bridge Caravan Park, just outside Callander

I think an answer from Jim would help you in this instant and perhaps a few others, including me.

I had to rebuild a form which somehow got corrupted and was not sending the details of sites, however when I rebuilt it but I had it send the results to an old email that I have not been monitoring I have 4 submissions that were diverted that way, now they have been recovered i should get them on the map this week
