Unlike some of the lucky ones, we are unable to escape to British weather this winter

Does anyone have any experience of 'heat tape' - normally 'wound' around exposed domestic pipes to prevent freezing (as if winter's in the UK are cold !! :001_smile: )

This is a link to the sort of thing we are considering -
http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Main_Ind...ape/index.html

From other research it seems that the 'self regulating tape is preferable - it also means that I don't have to firstly wrap all the pipe work in aluminum tape

Intend to further 'insulate' the water pipe work that I can reach but would appreciate any feed back from any who might have used this tape before deciding if it is a worthwhile investment under the insulation

Thanks in anticipation

been playing tonight and removed/cleaned/replaced the earth wires to the stainless steel earth lug on the pump.

still no slide !...pump selonoid is dead, valve selonoids are live.

then i turned on the jack master switch on the HWH control panel as well...

Magic !!! pump selonoid active and slide extends and retracts fine but ONLY when the jack master switch is on.

pushed the front end jack extend lever forward by accident and the slide started to retract

my limited knowledge tells me theres no 12v from the slide rocker switch to pump selonoid, only to the valve selonoids, and needs the jack switch on to power up the slide rocker switch to the pump.

is this usual or is it busted....

could it be possible the slide and jacks master switches are fed by a common 12v live, jacks first in line, but the link to the slide master is on the wrong side of the jack master...switched side instead of permenantly live side ?

Hi Everyone

Wondered if anyone can help?

Have a 1996 pusher with an 8.3litre Cummins Turbodiesel. The fuel cut off soenoid has fallen apart and I am now on the second new one supplied incorrectly.

I have ordered using the engine number and both new ones sent have been larger diameter and length. Whilst there is physically space for the larger to fit, it won't fit onto the mounting bracket.

Therefore does anyone know if it's incorrect, or if I need to order the new bracket as well. I'm wondering if the new larger one is an upgrade and it needs the new bracket to install?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
